As a health resort in northern Rheinland-Pfalz Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is known. But is the best air throughout the city in a district which is actually a village: Ramer Bach is the highest situated geographically part of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. This already begins the Eifel. Many visitors from the city come to hike here - and the 700 Ramer Bacher hike itself is very well liked: The club even has a separate walking division.
Who wants to rest after the seven-mile hike from the city after Ramer stream that can come in Halfenhof. This is a guest house where you can learn something about past Köhler kiln and a Roman iron melt - for Ramer Bach is on the trail "Historical street iron road".
