This grave stone was sunk in 1873 during the laying of the cemetery, which was until then the church, with 9 other crosses in the cemetery wall. It is a special Denkmal aus der Kirchengeschichte von Ramersbach und eine Erinnerung an den 10. und 12. Pastor, Anton Krupp.
Teachers angel was still working as pastor in 1796 after 14 years Krupp, Ramer Bach left. He was succeeded on 15 August 1756-born Rheinbach Pastor Hermann Josef Roper. This provided his service in the difficult times of the Napoleonic occupation. As on 18 April 1795, a group of French riders in Ramer Bach arrived, the men were defending the village and lined up to defend. The weapons consisted of axes, pitchforks and flails. This led to a scuffle, during which John and Peter Dümpelfeld Herresbach were mortally wounded.
A third victim, Matthias Schneider, died after a long illness on 9 October 1796 also at the consequences of injuries from this struggle.
seem Later, the French soldiers yet settled and the inhabitants have to be better understood, because Pastor Roper trust in 1810 in the parish church to the French soldiers Ramer Bach Johann Joseph Ferris to Catherine Thomas, both from Longuion.
is the age of 57 years Pastor Roper then on 8 Died May 1813 in Ramer Bach and was buried in the cemetery at the church.
Then came Anton Krupp as completely blind, in 12th Pastor after Ramer Bach back and provided the service as good as possible. He had the Ramer Bacher certainly very close to the heart, for it is seldom that a pastor again assumes the same parish.
His decision to come back to his former parish but was easier, because in the same year his school friend, who took over in 1750, also born in Hönningen / Thomas Ahr forest as a parish priest to neighboring Blasweiler. Was able pastor forest his classmates are blind to the side and make the necessary entries in the church books. In the 17 years, the pastor of Krupp Ramer Bach was separated, had changed a lot there. He found a village which was completely looted by the French occupation.
The teacher Matthew Engel was on 26 Died July 1811. Now it was his successor, Michael Kramer as a teacher and clerk to the side. This operation then as a sideline, the spinning of wool and has done so for a reliable source even during lessons.
The village had grown and now had about 300 inhabitants. A school was still not available. Rev. Krupp had insisted on the construction of such and so could 1817 finally a one-story school building, to be built consisting of classrooms and teacher housing. This Ramer Bach had now finally a school.
Pastor Krupp had Ramer Bacher not only to my heart and much suffering borne with you, he should stay here forever. He died on 25 September 1820 after a total of 21-year old work as a chaplain in Ramer Bach and was also buried here. A monument to the faithful priest still stands at the cemetery wall of Ramer Bach.
